Tutology® offers educational support to families of all backgrounds and abilities. We offer tuition for all Key Stages across all abilities, with the aim of increasing their confidence and encouraging them to perform above average.

As an all rounded educational support system, Tutology®’s online resources support parents by providing the highest quality advice, tips and tricks to guide children through their academic journeys.

Online tuition is the delivery of tuition over the internet through live classes. Through the use of e-learning softwares including interactive whiteboards, tutors are able to deliver lessons that are engaging and which benefit the students’ progress. Resources are uploaded onto the whiteboard so that all students can edit and annotate in real time, alongside the tutor. The notes are also saved and accessible to students after the lesson through their online platform. Tutors also use interactive quizzes and questions to monitor a student’s understanding of a topic.

You will require:

A laptop, computer, tablet. A smartphone device is not a suitable device to deliver lessons through.

A strong stable internet connection.

Zoom (click here to visit the Zoom website and download the software for free).

A microphone and speakers (these are built in to most computers, laptops and tablets) or alternatively headset is also suitable.

A webcam (these are built in to most computers, laptops and tablets).

Affordable graphics tablet, such as Wacom - not essential.

Each individual child learns differently and our tutors will assess the way your child learns and tailor the lessons to suit their individual needs. We have supported students as young as 5 years old online. However at this young age they may require support from an adult in the room with them whilst the lessons take place. We have several tutors who are very experienced with younger children as well as proficient in delivering online lessons to suit younger children.

Younger students can benefit with the additional computer skills they’ll gain from their online lessons.

Below, you can find some of the reasons why parents have required Tution for their children, although this list is not exhaustive :

To learn the necessary topic knowledge and exam technique required to pass a particular examination or assessment.

To eradicate bad habits that have formed which may be affecting their abilities to progress.

Upon your initial enquiry your child will complete an assessment, this will give us an idea of their strengths and weaknesses.

Once we have then received the signed contract and first month’s fee payment, your child will be allocated a suitable start date.

All of our tuition lessons usually last 1 hour, however we do also offer 2-hour long sessions which include a short break in between.

Our 1-2-1 tuition lessons are individualised and bespoke. The lesson structures are flexible and are tailored to suit the imminent topic support that the student requires. The 1-2-1 tuition lessons are ideal for those students who require focused support and comprehensive coverage of a topic at the students pace.

The group lessons are suitable for families who are looking for a cost-effective tuition plan, whereby their child still receives the high quality tuition but without the bespoke approach. Tutors follow a structured course of topics and the small group sizes allow for some flexibility when it comes to ensuring each child gets the best out of the lesson.

We offer two group sizes:

1-2-2: One tutor and two students.

3 - 4: One tutor and between 3-4 students.
